Here is the true and honest review from one of our customer,he bought double din android head unit for android 4.4.4 kitkat version,but today android 5.1.1 lollipop version has already came out,and it will be the new hot seller soon.

"I installed the item yesterday and it is working really good. I love this product.The would like to give 4 star ((because the package is not good) but I gave 5. Though it was sold as 'brand new' product, the package was torn at one end. I inspected the item outside manually. It looks good and doesn't have any signs of usage. So I am assuming this to be 'really a new item' instead of open box. So far so good with this unit.

Few Cons:
1. The package came with connector (UISO1 - http://www.amazon.com/JOYING-Universal-Harness-Android-Special/dp/B0152HEJ3Y/ref=aag_m_pw_dp?ie=UTF8&m=AA5DG9OALOPXX) instead of regular (UISO - http://www.amazon.com/JOYING-Universal-Harness-Android-Special/dp/B0152HEH22). Because of this I need to spend little more time to find a way to connect to my car.
2. No good installation manual. (But provided simple connector diagram is good enough for professional/car enthusiast).
3. Device has to boot every time (If you key in the car after the configured time). Obviously the battery shouldn't be drained, so it is limitation of the product.
4. No DVD/CD slot (Still some positives with respect to supported file formats)

Pros:
1. Pretty good booting speed. (~20 to 30 seconds - I haven't measured with stop watch).
2. Backup camera comes instantly. (Make sure to turn the key to 'Accessories' mode if you wanna test without starting the car)
3. Comes with Torque (full version) OBD2 scanner.
4. Works well with Bluetooth phone integration
5. If you turn on the car within the configured time (5 seconds, 10 minutes and 30 minutes are the available values) last opened application will continue to run. If you turn on the car after the configured time, the device does a fresh boot up and last opened application will run after boot up.
6. Music is turned down when call comes in or when navigation instructs any turns.
7. Though it doesn't have DVD/CD slot, it has couple of USB ports/Micro SD card slot. You can install any video player to support any type of files. If you buy regular DVD receiver it would end up in fixed set of formats supported. Android 4.4 virtually removes that limitation.
8. Screen size 7" is really good.

I am still keeping an eye on the battery usage. I have test well on this part. Will update the review once I have any data on this.

"I love it! I have used my smartphone as a mobile head unit for 6+ years. So making this move totally makes sense to me! I am big on listening to music, GPS, and phone calls. While all touchscreen head units do all 3.

I love using this in conjunction with my Android account, because I can access my Google Maps for recent places, default locations, and my starred places. You have an endless supply of music players to choose from.. you're not stuck on a default music player. While I wish the bluetooth app were a little more functional, it does the job.

My only gripes, it needs at least 5GB of internal storage, "Ok Google" (seems to crash a lot) and bluetooth support.

Ok Google/Voice Search seems to be a bit buggy.. it crashes frequently and doesn't work for calling contacts. My workaround, having your phone accessible and using Ok Google for call commands (my phone goes to daydream mode while plugged in, so I'm usually able to wake it up easily.

Bluetooth, I manage to only get an OBDII and phone contacts connected. It would have saved me some time and money, because I had to buy a USB remote/keyboard when I already had them in bluetooth.

It shows how versatile the Android OS really is by adapting the same technology into a head unit. It's like using what you already love about Android, but now seeing it in a different way and only using certain features and apps for a specific result.. being in your car. I am all-in with the Android ecosystem and this head unit makes me real happy being able to customize it way more than I could have with any other big name stereo. The storage (or lack thereof) was difficult getting used to, you have less than 1GB (not a typo) to download apps. You adjust fast and begin to look through your Google Play Store and dissect what you really NEED to be satisfied. My main issue was using Google Music playlists (not enough storage for offline), so I just stored them all on an micro sd-card and using CloudPlayer. It's a slight inconvenience to update playlists manually, but I found a good player. It's Android.. if you don't like an app, you can find a different to replace it. No regrets. This may be one of the best purchases ever!"

"I love Joying radios! I now own 3 of them....two 10.1" radios and one 7" radio. This review is for the one I installed in my 1999 Pontiac Trans Am. I made a custom trim piece to complete the look and put a "Pontiac Trans Am" logo on the front of the screen to make it appear factory. Keep in mind this car is not my daily driver. I only drive about 1000 miles a year and never in the rain or snow so 95% of the time my windows are done so I don't need good access to my HVAC controls which are partially covered in my install.

The Lollipop upgrade is a welcome addition. Android car stereos have been running KitKat for years. There is now a brightness control on the top toolbar and in the factory settings, you are able to set a screen dimmer when you turn the headlights on. I've had many Android radios that are just too bright at night. I'm glad this has been addressed in the Lollipop upgrade.

The quad core processor is very fast. Apps load quickly and I have not seen any lag. The new stock music player upgrade is also very good. They added album artwork that spins like a CD on the screen.

Sound quality is fantastic. I've owned 20 car stereos in my 1999 Trans Am alone in the past 16 years. I have a thing for car stereos and have had all the flagship models you can think of...Clarion NX604, Pioneer AVIC-8100NEX, Kenwood DNN-992HD and many more. The Joying radios blow them out of the water. In the past the android stereo sound quality was not the best but the new ones sound just as good as the name brands for a fraction of the price. I have all aftermarket speakers in my car and an amp driving two small 6.5" dual voice coil mid range subs. I get great base although a low pass filter would've been nice to have. I've used Android Auto on my Pioneer and I don't like it at all. Full android is the way to go and until the big dogs get on board, more people will turn away to overseas radios.

Joying customer service is the best I have seen in a long time from any company. They respond to questions very fast. I was even contacted by them asking how I liked the radios since they saw I bought 3 of them. You just don't get follow up like that from companies anymore. Way to go Joying!"

VW android 5.1.1 lollipop car stereo

"I have lived with unit now for a month and I have only one issue with it, the bluetooth radio does not support my radar detector. But that is it. Been a freaking great experience.

Fit and Finish: Looks great in my dash. Matches the my radio trim perfectly. The buttons and knobs feel good. They have a very good tactile click and the knobs have a good stiffness to detentes ratio. Moved to a custom ROM so that I could remap the buttons to launch other apps. The chrome plating trim pieces look good, but doesn't really match the brushed VW trim. The screen is a fingerprint magnet, but I keep a microfiber cloth to wipe away my greasy finger marks. It was a little tight as far a depth goes. The Can-Bus module and harness has a bit of bulk to it.

Steering Wheel Controls: They still work and had to do no setup. Did move to a custom ROM so that the forward and back buttons would work on other apps, because stock only allows them to control the oem music player.

Built in Amp: It seem to drive my stock speakers just fine. I listen to a little bit of everything and have not really heard any distortion at medium levels. Higher levels I have had some distortion between the 80-30Hz area, but i think that is just due to the stock speakers. Remember kids loudness is not your friend. I was really impressed about the sound stage, had to drop the knob to hear it.

Radio: Works just fine. No problem picking up stations. RDS works and the radio will save the station name. Just make sure you shut it down before you play any streaming services or Mp3's. It will stay playing on top of any other media.

Bluetooth Music: Plays fine for bluetooth. I don't really use it for anything other than audiobooks on my phone.I just don't like playing music over bluetooth.

Bluetooth Calling: I just used the built in Mic and have had no complaints from the people I call. They do include a Mic, but until somebody complains about call quality, i don't really need another thing hanging down from my roof.

Performance: This sucker is responsive. Input is snappy and responsive. I run the radio/stream music, use waze and CaroO pro every time I get in the car. Have not had the system slow down or become unresponsive yet. But I am using Malaysk's ROM. It's good stuff. Love remapping buttons and auto start of services. Does take some time (20-30 sec) to boot, but really does not bother me. The shut-down timer works great, I set it to 10 minutes and it immediately fires up with the ignition.

Wifi and Tethering: These both work great. I am using a LG G3 as the AP when I'm on the go, never had a disconnect. When I am home and need to update or transfer files, never had a problem connecting to my home network. Never tried a usb AP, so I can not comment on those.

Android 4.4.4: Its Android, you would not be here if you did not know about it. Have yet to run into a app that does not work. I have tested all the streaming services and they work fine. Amazon and Play app stores work. Like the other guy said, Waze is pretty great on a 8" screen.

Dash Cam: I use a Logitech C920 and CaroO for my app. Recording has fudged up here and there, but I think it was the apps fault. It has not done it since I updated it.

Solution 1:

Please long press the power button, when the button light change color, then loosen and long press again to get the update interface.
   
Then choose the recovery system from back up will be OK.

2. Then just copy the files into SD card without any folder.

4. Please wipe all data/ factory and cache reset, then update system/ mcu image from SD card and clear all.
It will be update automatically. please put out the Sd card from GPS slot when head unit updated to boot, and you have must waiting for it to start.

3.If the above solution is not feasible,I think it may be your phone problem,we suggest you do not buy our head unit again.
