Confirmation JOYING BMW Android Autoradio Fit or Not on Your BMW Car 1.Please check whether your car has factory amplifier. If your car supports DSP or external amplifier like Harmon Kardon, the JOYING android head unit will do not have no sound if you installed it. But you can modify speakers wires to bypass those Amplifiers, and to connect JOYING radio speakers wires to the car speakers, so it will be OK. 2.Please check whether your original car radio has screen or NOT. If your car has original screen like this picture to show, you have to buy the extend BMW cable.
3.If your BMW original car CD has blue and white connector, you also have to buy the BMW extension harness.

Good evening,
Today I installed the car radio.
As for the antenna jack fm, I ordered a Din Iso adapter. It should arrive tomorrow then I'll know to tell you if it's okay or not.
Instead I found a few problems, one serious.
The major problem is that it does not work the eject text of cd / dvd. I inserted a DVD to check the correct operation and the reading was good, the film could be seen quite well. When I pressed the eject button, not only the DVD is not released but is no longer being read (no longer any dvd to the car radio)
The other problems, less serious, are these:
1-micro sd empty gps, I expected to find the software with maps
3 non-work program the steering wheel buttons, even if the keys are already programmed, and allow me to change the volume and radio stations
4-key lights are off, light up when I change the color but then go off
For the moment I have not encountered other problems
Another question: how can I test the operation of the microphone?
I hope you can solve my problems, especially the most serious.
I thank you in advance
Greetings
Solution of DVD eject and key lights:
1.Regarding the DVD does not eject, please watch these two videos carefully:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfFrpXvxFTo&feature=youtu.be
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVdVuffqjP4&feature=youtu.be
2."key lights are off, light up when I change the color but then go off" This is normal situation. If you drive at night, then turn on your car lights, the head unit will follow your car lights on,the screen will dim. Protect your eyes. If you drive in the daytime, the head unit buttons are Not on, because your car lights are Not on, the screen will have a little light. So you will see the screen clearer.

Recently, android 5.1 system has already become more popular, which will attract many people's attention around the world.Today let us share with you one review from our customer. This customer bought one 7 inch 2 din android 5.1 head unit from us.He gave us product review as follow:
"I just finished installing this unit in my 2015 Subaru WRX STi (had factory navigation and H/K audio). I bought it directly through Joying's website because it was about $50 cheaper and even though they said it was coming from China, I received it that same week! This is a very nice unit in terms of functionality and price. I guess I'll break it down by major categories:
Hardware Seems to be solid. The unit is lighter than traditional mainstream head units probably due to a lack of CD/DVD player. The screen is pretty nice. The resolution is perfect for driving and the capacitive touch is responsive and reasonably accurate. You can tell it's not quite as sensitive as a normal tablet but during driving, that's probably for the better. The plastic cover is, well, plastic and it's held on with four screws. You can basically remove the front cover and work with the guts if you wanted to. The buttons on the front seem solid enough and they are backlit when you have your lights on.
The back of the unit has a bunch of ports/options. There's the antenna (motorola style) and GPS connectors along with the standard wiring harness for speakers, power, antenna/external amp, etc. The nice thing about this unit is that has pre-amp outs for all four speakers in addition to a set for an incoming signal (RCA in L&R), video in and video out (for headrest video), and a mono sub RCA (a single RCA for mono-channel out. You can get a splitter if your amp requires two RCAs in...worked great for me). There are two long female USB cables for adding storage, etc. and a 3.5mm microphone in which is provided. If you have resistive steering wheel controls the wiring harness has two "key" wires for that. You do NOT need to buy something like the ASWC-1! The unit has built in Bluetooth and WiFi which seem to work fine.
Software The unit comes with Android 5.1 which is good enough for most modern apps. The interface to the unit is pretty nice and thus far I have been able to install all the apps I would have wanted from the Google Play Store. Waze, Google Music, Google Maps, Yelp, Torque (installed by default), etc. The unit comes with a number of custom apps that seem to work pretty well. The Radio app is pretty legit and gets local stations well. There is a really nice steering wheel programmable app that basically lets you press a steering wheel button and select which feature you want to map it to. Really nice and easy to use. Additionally, there are things like a file browser, input/src switcher, video player, and other things like that. All-in-all pretty solid offering for default/installed software and the freedom to install what you want.
Sound I'm actually pretty impressed with the sound. I'm not a super sound junky but I've always been into car audio and the output is pretty nice. It has a software EQ which seems to work well though the default presets are kind of weak. For my setup, because I got the upgraded audio from the factory (built in amp and sub and H/K speakers) I ended up wiring the pre-amp outs to my harness which lead directly into the car's amp and sub. I also used the unit's mono sub RCA which goes to my RF P300-10. Overall a very great sounding setup. It may not be as nice as the $1000 mainstream units out there but I'm sure not many can tell the difference.
Installation Very easy and straightforward installation. You really do need to know what you are doing though. There are no instructions aside from a color print out of the ports and 1-2 words telling you what each wire is for. If you have never installed an after-market HU and you are going to do this on your own...you might want to get it professionally installed or get an experienced friend to help. Having said that, this unit is slightly larger than the normal double DIN. I had to sand down the dash kit to make this unit fit and the side mounting holes are somewhat off. Most mounting kits will be plastic so it's not too big of a deal to sand/cut to get the fit but just know that it's not perfect especially width wise.
Overall Overall, this is an awesome deal for people who want android functionality in their cars and don't want to shell out >$500 for a crippled Android Auto unit. What the mainstream manufacturers are charging for the neutered units they are selling is almost criminal. While this unit is not quite prefect, it's pretty close and for the price paid, you really cannot get better. As long as you are a bit of a hacker at heart this unit is perfect."

2 Din Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Car Stereo GPS navi radio
This is one blog from our customer review about Joying 2 din 7 inch android 5.1 lollipop autoradio.
"Pros: Excellently Packaged. I never thought I'd be impressed with packaging. Every jack/connection that could be covered was. Everything came in its own plastic bag clearly visible, well organized, and snug. In fact it looked better packaged than many name brand units I've seen or bought from big box stores.
Detailed Manual and Installation Instructions. The unit came with a well written and legible instruction manual. Not one of those photocopied nightmares that's both hard to read and understand. It also came with a wiring breakout.
Clearly labeled wires for easy connectivity. Wires where pre-stripped, but not bare for ease of installation. (Pull off a little excess sheathing that was pre cut
Cons: Front SD slots are not the easiest to use and require careful insertion. Less than optimal performance. (Tasks get done, but it is a little clunky) Very small app storage space. (Fixable, via third party rom)
Nitpicks: No really well documented recovery procedure. (Had to find obscure adb root code then root via third party apks to install third party power control) 64gb SD Cards required erasing prior to being usable and only show a total of 59.x of space per card. Less than optimal performance. Touch screen could be improved a bit. A returned Pyle unit had a very responsive and smooth touch screen, granted that was also the only "name brand" competitor and was lacking in all other aspects. 500ma USB ports are disappointing.
The unit was more than adequate out of the box as a basic navigation/music device and a little more. After careful install in my 2016 Kia Soul it functioned as expected. The built in equalizer settings really do wonders for the base models modest sound system. I used an metra aswc-1 to keep my steering wheel controls, the results weren't perfect but they worked for all the functions I required. Three buttons couldn't be mapped the mic, phone pick up, and phone hang up buttons. Volume, Mode, and Track buttons mapped as expected. It should be noted that both key wires from the stereo need to be connected for 2016 soul owners to the metra aswc-1 female 3.5mm jack. Brown to Brown and Brown/White to Pink. Despite not being able to connect three buttons the added bonus of being able to map secondary functions to buttons via long presses somewhat makes up for it. The provided screws also had the added bonus of mating perfectly with the metra dash kit for my model vehicle. GPS Navigation was spot on out of the box, no weird signal issues, and much more accurate than my phone."
